BANGALORE: With the onset of monsoons, BESCOM will put in place a monsoon strategy to ensure minimum inconvenience to customers, MD P.B. Ramamurthy said on Tuesday.
As part of the action plan, staff will be sensitised about being available round-the-clock to attend to complaints. In addition, senior level officers will be asked to stay in their sub-divisions during the evening peak between 6 pm and 8 pm.
``We are also trying to provide cellular phones to all the assistant executive engineers and publicise their numbers so that citizens can contact them at all times.

BESCOM has also sought suggestions and ideas from the public to improve services. Letters can be sent to the MD at Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited, 14/3, CFC Building, IV floor, Nrupatunga Road, Bangalore 560 001. Phone 2276366. email mdbescom@rediffmail.com.
