Metro extension to BIA

BANGALORE: CM B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday directed officials to prepare a blueprint for connecting the Metro rail from Byappanahalli to Bengaluru International Airport (BIA). This was decided following a suggestion from CM's economic adviser K V Raju. The CM assured that work connecting Byappanahalli to M G Road will be completed in two years. "Tenders for next phase of work will be completed in a couple of months,'' he said.
