Man killed at party after fight with neighbour in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 29-year-old private company employee was bludgeoned to death during a house party in Madiwala late Friday night. Police have detained the suspect, who is a neighbour of the victim.The deceased is Martin Simon, a resident of Venkateshwara Layout and originally from Tamil Nadu.Working as a recovery agent with a private financial institution, he was living with his wife and 18-month-old son on the second floor of the four-floor building for the past two years, according to police.The suspect is Infant Raj, 26. A private firm employee and a bachelor, Raj lived on the ground floor of the same building. "Both regularly partied on the terrace. On Friday at 10pm, while they were partying, a fight broke out. Raj took a cement brick and hit Simon on the head. When Simon collapsed, Raj ran away. Police found him hiding in a friend's room and detained him Saturday.
