Lokayukta sleuths inspect relinquished sites

Mysuru: Lokayukta officials Friday conducted a spot inspection of the 14 plots that were allegedly illegally allotted to Parvathi BM, wife of chief minister Siddaramaiah, by Mysore Urban Development Authority (Muda).Accompanied by Muda and district administration officials, Lokayukta sleuths measured the plots. Social activist Snehamayi Krishna, one of the complainants in the case, was also present.In a recent visit to the ED office in Bengaluru, Snehamayi Krishna submitted a detailed 500-page report, stating, "All the documents were in Kannada, and I explained them to the officers while providing evidence."Meanwhile, another activist, TJ Abraham, a petitioner to the governor seeking permission to investigate charges against Siddaramaiah, filed an RTI petition at the Muda office Friday requesting documents related to the controversial sites and disputed land."Muda's decision to take back the sites on request of CM's wife is proper. I appreciate its decision in this regard. Earlier, I had also suggested returning to the sites," Abraham said.On the ongoing investigations, he said, "I have faith in the Lokayukta. I'm okay with the CID investigation, but the CM must resign. I will take this case to a logical end."
