Leopard cub enters house in Tumakuru, caught

A leopard cub, aged around nine months, was captured by forest officials from a house at Muddalingayyana Doddi in Kunigal taluk of Tumakuru district.
The male cub entered the house of Shivanna, a farmer, through the front door while the family members were watching TV on Friday at 9pm. One of the family members noticed the cub and soon, all of them rushed out and locked the door from outside.
Alerted by them, a team of six forest personnel reached the spot.They placed the cage in front of the door and the leopard entered it at 12.30am on Saturday. The cub was healthy and released into the forest later.
