Lab technician sexually harasses woman, held

Bengaluru: A 23-year-old lab technician with a private hospital in Hebbal has been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a 60-year-old woman patient in the wee hours of September 5. The accused, Ashok Roy, is a resident of Murugeshpalya.
The woman visited the hospital following a bout of diarrhoea and giddiness on the night of September 4. She was admitted and asked to undergo a CT scan.Around 1.30am, she entered the scanning room on the third floor of the hospital, where the accused was waiting. “In the room, Ashok misbehaved with me and touched me inappropriately... I came out quickly and narrated the incident to my husband. Then, we both went to the duty doctor and informed him,” she said. TNN
