K’taka to take on Rajasthan

The hosts lost to Uttar Pradesh in the first round, so they will be looking to win their way back into the competition. Meanwhile, the women from Karnataka continued their winning streak, beating West Bengal 7836 to finish second in their group. They will next take on Nagaland in their quest for a top10 finish.

Bengaluru: Karnataka men will take on Rajasthan in the quarterfinals of the 72nd Junior National Basketball Championship at the Sree Kanteerava stadium on Thursday. In the second round on Wednesday, the hosts lost to Uttar Pradesh 66-94 to finish second in Group F and will take on the third-place finishers from Group E.
Meanwhile, Karnataka women continued their winning the run in the 9-16 playoff matches as they beat West Bengal 78-36.
