KPL match fixing: CCB files 3 chargesheets

The CCB’s charge-sheet in JP Nagar police station case names celebrity drummer Bhavesh Bafna, international bookie Sayyam and local bookies Jatin Sait, Kiran and Harish Kumar as accused.
Joint commissioner of police (crime) Sandeep Patil said, "In all three above cases, the preliminary chargesheets have been filed. The investigation will continue."
"We have been able to collect evidence to show how bookies operated and were able to lure players and communicate to the players to place betting,” Patil added.
Police sources said that the chargesheets provide details about places where players were lured including the parties hosted by team owners, meetings held at an apartment in Domlur and signs used to get across messages to players to act according to bookies’ directions. However, the investigation is still in progress and additional charge-sheets will be filed in the coming days, they added.

and Ballari Tuskers owners Ali Ashfaq Thara and Arvind Reddy, respectively,Karnataka State Cricket Association
managing committee member Sudhindra Shinde, former Karnataka cricketer CM Gautam, cricketer Abrar Kazi and bookie Maavi have been named as accused.Nishant Singh Shekawat
