KOLAR: Disgraced Kolar SP K P Puttaswamy, who was trapped by the Lokayukta on Friday, was admitted to Jalappa Hospital after he complained of chest pain. Puttaswamy was trapped by the Lokayukta while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from a constable.
Lokayukta sleuths searched Puttaswamy's residence and found 125 gm of gold, Rs 75,000 cash, among other valuables.
Dr K Borappa, medical superintendent of Jalappa Hospital, said various tests were conducted on Puttaswamy and he was found to be hale and hearty. However, as a precautionary measure he has been kept at the special ward for observation.
