KBA felicitates top shuttlers

Bengaluru: Mithun Manjunath emerged richer by Rs 75,000 for his exploits on the national circuit at the felicitation event organised by the Karnataka Badminton Association here on Saturday.Mithun won Rs 50,000 for the singles crown at the National Championships in Pune in February and an additional Rs 25,000 for the silver at the National Games. Prakash Raj and Kushal Raj claimed Rs 50,000 each for winning the men’s doubles title at the National Championships. Sai Pratheek was given Rs 46,538 for his men's doubles gold medals at the National Games and South Zone meets and the bronze at the Senior National team event. Nithin HV took home Rs 44,038 for his showing at the National Games, Senior National team events and South Zone. Top coaches of the state were also felicitated.
