A City Armed Reserve (CAR) vehicle, which was part of the convoy of Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi, toppled on Yeshwantpur flyover on Sunday morning.

Bangalore: A City Armed Reserve (CAR) vehicle, which was part of the convoy of Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi, toppled on Yeshwantpur flyover on Sunday morning. Karunanidhi is on a visit to the city. Two police personnel were injured.
According to traffic police, Karunanidhi visited his daughter's farmhouse on Kanakapura Road on Saturday and he was returning to Tamil Nadu the next day.

En route to Bengaluru International Airport, the CAR vehicle was trying to keep pace with other convoy vehicles. At a sharp curve on Yeshwantpur flyover, the speeding car lost control and toppled over.
There were nine CAR personnel in the vehicle. ASI Channegowda and constable Badrinath Singh sustained injuries. The two were taken to M S Ramaiah Hospital. Yeshwantpur traffic police have registered a case.
