Karunakara's rise
Docile to kingmaker is how one can describe the metamorphosis of revenue minister G Karunakara Reddy.
Along with his youngest brother G Janardhan Reddy, he is leading the pack of dissidents against chief minister B S Yeddyurappa. The crisis in the BJP has brought out the other side of the man, who is considered by all as silent and soft-spoken.
As member of parliament from 2004 to 2008, not many people knew him.
Also, not many have heard Karunakara use offensive language - till recently when he compared Yeddyurappa to the mythological wicked king Kamsa.
