Karnataka youth held for threat to kill Salman Khan

MANVI (RAICHUR): Mumbai police arrested a 23-year-old man from Manvi taluk of Karnataka's Raichur district on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to kill Salman Khan and a film lyricist.The accused, Sohail Pasha, a YouTuber claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been sent to two-day police custody.Pasha allegedly contacted Mumbai City Police's WhatsApp helpline on Nov 7, demanding Rs 5 crore and threatening to kill Salman Khan and the lyricist. Pasha's message read: "The lyricist will not be able to write songs anymore. If Salman Khan has the courage, let him be saved." Raichur SP M Puttamadiah and Manvi police SI Veerabhadraiah Hiremath did not respond to TOI's calls.
