These projects together account for Rs 3,908 crore and are expected to generate 12,475 jobs.Another 15 projects with investments between Rs 15 crore and Rs 50 crore have been cleared with a combined investment of Rs 350 crore, creating 1,750 jobs. As per the proposal, the land has been identified in four villages — Chikkabelavangala, Rampura, Sonnenahalli and Naranahalli — located about 4km from the KWIN City project.According to documents accessed by TOI, a team of officials, led by a KIADB executive engineer, conducted a spot inspection. The team submitted a report recommending the acquisition of the land as the identified area is located along Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), close to the proposed KWIN City project, and much of the land is currently lying vacant.Officials said the report and proposal were placed before the board for consideration. KIADB sources said the board is likely to issue a preliminary notification for land acquisition soon after it gives its approval.Officials added that there has been huge demand for land for industrial establishments near Bengaluru, particularly along the STRR stretch between Dabaspet and Hoskote, due to improved road infrastructure and proximity to the Kempegowda International Airport. This has prompted KIADB to identify more land to create industrial land banks around Bengaluru.According to KIADB data, the board has already acquired 18,613 acres of land in Bengaluru Rural district, while the acquisition process is under way for another 6,521 acres. With the addition of the proposed 2,100 acres, a total of 27,234 acres will be developed as industrial areas in Bengaluru Rural district.——-Revving up industrial growthMajor projects cleared by state govtFirm project investmentBagmane Constructions, IT infra, Rs 494.6 croreKarnataka Bangaru Sugars, sugar factory, Rs 443 croreKleine Pax, technical textile unit, Rs 376 croreTrishul Buildtech and Infra, five-star hotel project, Rs 300 croreTroult Grass, compressed biogas unit, Rs 257 croreTsuyo Manufacturing, e-vehicle motor & controller manufacturing, Rs 250 crore-
