BENGALURU: A wild tusker died apparently owing to a stomach ailment at a forest camp near Shivamogga on Saturday.

The elephant Naganna, believed to be over 30 years old, showed symptoms of the ailment as the tusker was very slow in its movement, according to its mahout.

Naganna was captured from the Bhadrawati forest division and kept at the Shivamogga forest camp.
