BENGALURU: The
Meteorological Centre
on Sunday said rain or thundershowers is very likely to occur at most places in
Karnataka, including Bengaluru region, over the next few days.

IMD - Bengaluru
, said that North East Monsoon, which has set over southern India, is bringing showers in Karnataka as well.
“There will be rainfall for the next four to five days. While there will be heavy rainfall in isolated places, it will be widespread of light to moderate pattern all over the state,” he added.
The weatherman further said that squally weather with wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph was likely on Karnataka coast. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
Even on Saturday and Sunday, rain pounded various parts of the state. Heavy rainfall accounts were recorded in some parts of Belagavi, Uttara Kananda, Haveri and Dakshina Kannada districts.
