Parishe organisers say they expect more farmers and traders to participate this year as the production is high following good rain. Apart from farmers of neighbouring districts like Bengaluru Rural, Chikkaballapura, Ramanagara and Tumakuru, cultivators from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh as well will participate.

“Though the fair officially begins from Monday, stalls are expected to be there from the weekend before it as traders want to make most of the occasion,” said an organiser. Last year, the fair had attracted about 7 lakh visitors.
