Kannada made must in hoardings
BANGALORE: The BCC Standing Committee for Finance and Taxation has approved a resolution to make it mandatory to use Kannada in hoardings and advertisement boards, failing which legal action will be initiated.
The resolution copy, signed by Committee Chairman N.L. Narendra Babu, said the hoardings have messages only in English, though Kannada should be used as per rules.
