Kannada actor Nagabhushana 'hits' married couple with his car, woman dies

BENGALURU: A 48-year-old woman died and her husband sustained severe injuries after a car being driven by Kannada actor Nagabhushana allegedly hit them on Saturday night on Vasanthapura main road in south Bengaluru.


Police identified the deceased as Prema Krishna, a resident of Vasanthapura. Prema and Krishna were walking on a footpath around 9.50pm, when Nagabhushana's car hit them.

The car stopped after it hit an electrical pole. The actor rushed the injured to a nearby private hospital, where Prema succumbed to injuries.

Police registered a case against Nagabhushana and arrested him and further investigations are on.
