Jagadish Shettar walks the political tightrope

BELGAUM: The Jagadish Shettar government, left with very few options, is treading cautiously on the Supreme Court’s order to release water to Tamil Nadu. The opposition does not want a single drop released.
The government will announce its decision on Thursday morning.
Sources say the state’s legal team has suggested the government follow the apex court’s order to release 10,000 cusecs of water till Monday. But the government wants another legal review.
