The MLCs had been identified as: K Govindaraju, who is the president of Karnataka Olympic Association and a close confidante of senior Congress leaders including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, U Mallikarjun, an independent member in the Council who was elected from the Assembly, and CR Manohar, who recently produced a multi-crore movie and a native of Kolar.

Manohar’s house in Sarjapur, in Bengaluru rural, Mallikarjun’s house in Jayanagar and Govindaraju’s house in Domplur were raided besides their respective offices.

“We have seized a large number of incriminating documents from their houses and offices. We will go through the documents and will be able to come to know about their earnings investments and undeclared wealth they hold that were not disclosed yet,” said an official.
