BANGALORE: Senior IPS officer K C Ramamurthy has been posted as additional commissioner (traffic and security) of Bangalore.
A 1982 batch officer, Ramamurthy has been given the mandate to improve the city's traffic. Earlier, he was commissioner for youth services. The incumbent additional commissioner, M N Reddi, has been posted as commissioner for youth services.
Furthermore, the government on Friday transferred 22 IPS officers.

KSRTC director (vigilance and security) Bhaskar Rao has been made the new police commissioner of Mysore.
