Injured undertrial dead

belgaum: an undertrial gangster, who was undergoing treatment at belgaum district hospital for the injuries he sustained in the monday''s jail clash, died on friday. he d has been identified as vishal krishna medhekar (25) of shastri galli in belgaum. vishal sustained grievous injuries in the clash between undertrials and convicted prisoners at hindalga jail.speaking to reporters, amit honagekar, a member of the sanjay sunthakar gang (who is also admitted to the hospital with injuries), alleged that the jail authorities neglected the requests of vishal to immediately admit him to a hospital after the monday''s incident.
