NEW DELHI: An IndiGo Airlines customer executive died, while her colleague and the cab driver sustained serious injuries after their car crashed into a stationary bus early Monday morning, police said.
According to police, 24-year-old Sneha I, a native of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, was employed as a customer executive with IndiGo.
The accident took place around 4.30am on the ITC Factory service road near Tarabanahalli Gate, when Sneha was returning home in a cab with her colleague Kausar Khanum.
All three occupants were injured in the crash and rushed to the hospital. Sneha, who suffered critical injuries, later succumbed.
The driver and Khanum are currently undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
Sneha's father, Illangovan Ramadevar, alleged in his complaint that her death was caused by the driver's "rash and negligent driving".
