IISc best in India on Nature Index

Bengaluru: The latest annual Nature Index, a ranking of global institutes released by the premier science journal, ranked Indian Institute of Science as the best Indian institute, while Council for Scientific and Industrial Research comes second.
Homi Bhabha National Institute is ranked third in India. “IISc has been ranked number 1 in India in both overall and academic categories of 2023 Nature Index Annual Tables.The rankings recognise high-quality research contributions in diverse disciplines,” the institute said Tuesday. tnn
