BANGALORE: In a reshuffle of 14 IPS officers here on Wednesday, western range IGP Gopal B Hosur has been posted as new additional commissioner of police for Bangalore city. He comes in the place of M R Pujar, who retired a month ago. Alok Mohan will now head the sensitive western range.
The city also has three new DCPs. P H Rane is the new DCP for Bangalore Central division, Sonia Narang is DCP Bangalore city traffic, (west division) and D Prakash is DCP (administration).
K P Puttaswamy has taken charge as the assistant IGP (crime).
