Health of Parvathamma Rajkumar is stable: Hospital

BENGALURU: Parvathamma Rajkumar, a film producer and wife of legendary late Kannada actor Rajkumar, has been on treatment at MS Ramaiah Hospital and her condition is stable, as on Saturday.
The 78-year-old who was hospitalised on May 14 has been battling renal problems along with difficulty in breathing. She has been on Ventilation. Three days ago she underwent a procedure called Tracheostomy, wherein a tube was inserted into windpipe in the neck to open up restricted airway if any and enable breathing.A day after the procedure, she had developed fever.
“Her condition has not changed for the last 24 hours. She remains stable, still on assisted ventilation and her vital parameters are within normal limits. She is on dialysis. No further episodes of fever. There is significant improvement in her sensorium,” said an official statement from the hospital.
