Groom dies at marriage hall just before tying knot

TUMAKURU: A 28-year-old M.Tech graduate from Bengaluru died in a marriage hall on Sunday minutes before he was to tie the knot. Vasanth Kumar is said to have died due to cardiac arrest, police were told.
A resident of Gowribidanur, Kumar was to marry a girl from Madhugiri at the Gaviranga hall. He was getting ready for the wedding rituals when he collapsed on the stage around 7.30am."He had no known health problems. We are all shocked," said Raveesh, a relative of Kumar.
