Bengaluru: Despite a setback in her final match, National 15-red snooker champion Amee Kamani topped the first selection camp 6-red snooker tournament at the KSBA hall here on Friday.
The Madhya Pradesh cueist went down 2-3 to Kolar’s Keerthana P to finish with six wins and a defeat in the eight-player field. Reigning National champion Vidya Pillai too finished with six wins but lost out to Amee on frame average. Varshaa Sanjeev took the third spot with five wins and two losses. In the boys’ U-16 15-red snooker event, Karnataka’s Mayank Karthik registered three wins on the day to remain undefeated in the league.
