Bengaluru: Dylan P Thokchom and Shaina M bagged two titles apiece in U-13 sector at the state ranking badminton tournament here on Friday.
Top seed Dylan (Yadav Pro Badminton Academy) defeated Toshan Naik 21-17, 21-17 in the boys final before claiming the doubles with Karansh Naidu. The duo beat Shyam Bindiganavile and Sambhram S Koliwad 21-15, 21-18.
Shaina M (Patel's Inn) upset top seed Hithaishree Lokesh Rajaiah 21-19, 21-14 for the girls' crown before capping her fine run with the doubles title. Shaina and Aikya brooked no stopping against Nidhi Atmaram and Disha Ravi Bhat 21-17, 21-14.
In the boys U-11 category, top seed Gautham S Nair (RSBA) clinched a double. He downed his twin Siddharth S Nair 21-13, 21-6 in the singles final before combining with him to oust Vishal D Anand and B Vishal Uthappa 21-13, 21-9 for the doubles crown.
Top seed Adithi Sushanth (Vanquishers) triumphed among U-11 girls with a 21-16, 21-17 win over Hamsa Muralidhara.
