Fresh Face auditions at New Horizon College of Engineering
The excitement in the auditorium of
LOADS OF SKILLS: Apart from the usual song and dance, the students showcased a variety of talent, like ramp-walking, beat-boxing, rapping and guitar-playing. Sheethal V’s rendition of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep drew lots of applause from the audience and the judge as well. Meanwhile, Nikki Bhutia’s moves to Kala Chashma had the entire auditorium grooving, while a battle of the beat boxers between Arun Raj and Bhavana Savanth left the audience in awe.
WINNERS: Gagana V, who impressed the judges with her dance routine and confidence, was declared the winner among the girls, followed by Sukanya Shyam and Bhavana Savanth in the first and second runners-up positions, respectively. Among the boys, Deepak Raj, who showed off some highly skillful dance moves onstage, was adjudged the winner among the boys. The calm and composed Salman Bhat was the first runner-up as his Punjabi rap wooed the audience and the judge. Ashish Sathpathy had the audience rolling on the floor in laughter with his mimicry and was declared the second runner-up.
