Four held for desecration

BANGALORE: With the arrest of four persons, the Bangalore City police have solved the mystery behind the desecration of two places of worship in JC Nagar and Hebbal, that had caused communal tension in the city three weeks ago.
The arrested have been identified as Mahesh, Nandish, Shailendra and Babu, all residents of Nagawara. "Yes, we have arrested them,'' said joint commissioner of police (crime) Gopal B Hosur, refusing to divulge further details.
The JC Nagar tension had led to a shutdown and gridlock in central parts of the city.
