The complainant stated that Muniraju abused his position as MLA and along with four others, created fabricated documents to grab 1.15 acres of land belonging to his mother-in-law Mallamma at Kereguddadahalli. The other four accused are - Ranganath, then tahsildar of Bangalore North; Suresh, revenue inspector; Parameshwarappa and Rajamma, both residents.
The complaint says the government acquired the complainant's family land in 1981 under the Urban Land Ceiling Act. They questioned it before the high court and a division bench in 2007 ruled in their favour and directed the government to return their land.
The MLA influenced the revenue officials and ensured that the complainant's family couldn't take possession of their land. He created fabricated documents and got 15 guntas transferred to his name and another 37 guntas to his associates Parameshwarappa and Rajamma.
