BENGALURU: Here is a chance for young film makers from schools across the country to fly to Australia. The Cambridge English Language Assessment – a department of the University of Cambridge - and the Australian Trade Commission in India have organized a video competition for school students interested in making short films.
The four winning teams, comprising of two students and one teacher each, will be sent for a one-week study trip to universities in Australia. The prize includes return flight tickets from India to Australia, accommodation and living expenses.
The themes for the film making competition are – Bond University: Social Entrepreneurship, Charles Darwin University: Creative Animation, Curtain University: Robotics, and James Cook University: Marine Sciences.
The participating teams should make a three-minute video on these themes. Those who are aspiring to take part in this competition have to register on www.a2oz.org and have to upload the videos on YouTube.
