BANGALORE: Congress leader DK Shiva Kumar on Saturday sprung a surprise by knocking on the doors of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa
. He sought the KJP
leader's support in the upcoming bypolls
for Bangalore Rural and MandyaLokSabha
segments. In the wake of his brother DK Suresh contesting from Bangalore Rural, Kumar sought the support of the former CM. Yeddyurappa's KJP has not fielded any candidate in both the segments and is said to be supporting JD(S)'s Anitha Kumaraswamy.
Responding to Kumar's request, the Lingayat strongman is said to told that he would make his stand public in the next two days.
