Dalai Lama happy about Bylakuppe amity

madikeri: tibetan spiritual leader his holiness dalai lama was on monday given a warm farewell at bylakuppe. the dalai lama had conducted religious discourses at bylakuppe near koppa from july 22 to august 3. just before his departure to chennai, his holiness told the times of india, "it gives me immense pleasure to see the cordial relationship between indians and tibetans in bylakuppe.my 13-day religious discourse at bylakuppe has been successful and i wish to come back next year". the tibetan leaders and students gave the 14th dalai lama a traditional farewell. thousands of students stood on either side of the road for more than 10 km and bid him goodbye even as they received his blessings.
