BANGALORE: Congress leaders led by C.K. Jaffer Sharief on Tuesday visited the camp site of the RSS-sponsored `Samarasata Sangama', which is beginning in Bangalore from January 25.

bangalore: congress leaders led by c.k. jaffer sharief on tuesday visited the camp site of the rss-sponsored `samarasata sangama', which is beginning in bangalore from january 25. the three-day event includes a route march by thousands of rss swayamsevaks on january 26. the procession will start from yelahanka at 4 pm pass through ganganagar, r.t. nagar, jakkarayanakere, kadugodanahalli, vyalikaval play grounds and culminate at pottery road.

all these areas come under the assembly constituencies represented by j. alexander (bharathinagar) and b. prasanna kumar (yelahanka) with bangalore north being the lok sabha constituency. sharief said congress legislators have assured to cooperate with the march, while a similar promise had been made by the rss representatives. on sunday, ministers mallikarjun m. kharge and r. roshan baig also visited the camp site near nagavara.
