Sunday''s event from 10 am to 6 pm, at 156 BEML Layout, ITPL Road, is sponsored by Galerie Sara Arakkal and co-sponsored by Bhaskar Art Centre.

For artist Yusuf Arakkal, the idea triggered off when city musicians were doing some loud thinking on holding — a charity event to raise funds for tsunami victims. A chat with his colleague S.G. Vasudev, and the fraternity got cracking. "We realise that holding an event of this magnitude should have a bigger impact than just selling our art works," says Arakkal.

"The priority is to make sure that we raise funds for the cause. So the concessional rates," he adds.

The participants are Azis T.M., Anuradha Nalapat, Babu Eshwar Prasad, Balan Nambiar, Bhaskar Rao, Bharathi Sagar, Chandranath Acharya, Gopinath, Gurudas Shenoy, Jayakumar, C.F. John, J.M.S. Mani, Paresh Hazra, Rekha Rao, Shanthamani, Shirley Alex Kuruvilla, Shirley Mathew, Sultana Hasan, S.G. Vasudev and Yusuf Arakkal.

Call 51162622 for details.
