gulbarga: district sessions and principal judge linga reddy on tuesday posted further hearing of the bail application of the three accused in the wadi church bomb blast to december 29. the corps of detectives (cod) officials, who investigated the church bomb blast which occured on june 8, informed the court about their counsel's inability to appear in court, and sought more time.

however, the defence lawyers for the accused ismail akki, syed abbas ali and amir hamza raised objections on granting more time and pleaded that the case be put up for hearing in a day or two. around 19 people, allegedly belonging to the hyderabad-based deendar society were booked on charges of the wadi bomb blasts case. the cod which investigated the case booked cases against 16 accused and declared another three as residents of pakistan.
