The maiden edition of

Times Nightlife Icons

unravelled into an evening of glitz and high spirits, as Bengaluru’s gourmet greats, Sandalwood celebs, fashion gurus and top cop descended on the red carpet together to honour those behind the city’s thumping nightlife. The event, held at Taj MG Road, was specially curated to recognise pubs,

breweries

and sports bars that are intrinsic in making Bengaluru a favourite destination globally. LGBTQIA+-friendly approach, innovative ambience, gourmet delicacies and good alcohol were among the markers considered.

While Ragini Dwivedi swished around in a striking red dress, Priyanka Upendra kept it elegant in a crimson jumpsuit, and Shwetha R Prasad made a style statement in black.

won applause with his painting performance on stage. Emcee Asif kept everyone entertained through the evening with his shayaris and one-liners. City hot spots were recognised under 20 categories in a ceremony that lasted a little over than an hour, followed by an equally energetic after party.
