Carnatic musical festival begins

bangalore: sree guruvayurappan bhajan samaj trust began its carnatic music festival on saturday. it will be on till august 19. the festival is being held at the odukkathur mutt. an impressive list of musicians such as t.n. seshagopal, rajkumar bharathi, sanjay subramanian, hyderabad brothers, anuradha sriram and sriram parasuram, p. unnikrishna, sudha raghunath, u.srinivas, m. nagaraj, mysore m. manjunath and k.s. gopalkrishnan will perform in the festival which is organised as part of the gokulashtami celebrations. ksrtc transport facility has been arranged at 9 pm every day after the programme to shivajinagar, indiranagar, thippasandra, domlur and cambridge layout.
