Japanese vlogger Kiki Chen, known as Chromatic Charms on Instagram, expressed her admiration for the creative design of Terminal 2. Sharing a video on Instagram, she gave a virtual tour of the terminal, highlighting its unique features, including event spaces, entertainment areas, and the Nicobar lounge.

In her post, Chen wrote, “India’s best airport terminal! With outdoor retail, event spaces, and entertainment areas. Everything built with bamboo—even the check-in counters. Can’t believe I was at an airport in India!”

The video received positive responses, with one user commenting, “As an Indian, I’m proud of my country’s infrastructure, history, and culture.”

Bengaluru airport’s terminal 2 earned this recognition at UNESCO’s Prix Versailles 2023, where a panel led by famed designer Elie Saab named it one of the world’s most beautiful airports, making it the only Indian airport to receive such an honor.
