Namma Metro: Buy QR tickets through apps

BENGALURU: Namma Metro users can purchase single-journey mobile QR tickets through Paytm and Yatra mobile applications from Thursday. Commuters can generate them by specifying the entry and destination stations on these two apps.

The purchased QR ticket on the phone should be flashed at QR readers of the automatic gates at both entry/exit of stations. QR-code tickets will get a 5% discount over token fare.
