BANGALORE: One person was killed and three were injured in an early-morning accident near Silk Board junction on Wednesday. Police said the four men were coming from Villupuram in Tamil Nadu. They were crossing the road after alighting from a bus at 4.30am when a tempo hit them.
William James, 38, died on the spot. He was an accountant with Vigneshwara Concrete Company and a resident of Mahadevapura.

Indrajit, Perumal and Vasuki are the injured. Passers-by rushed them to nearby Venkattapa Hospital.
However, Indrajith was later shifted to Nimhans because his injuries were serious. The tempo driver fled from the spot. Police are on the lookout to nab him.
