BENGALURU: With Bengaluru University (BU) all set to have an app, students will soon get instant solutions to their queries about examinations and admissions. It'll also provide an interactive forum for students and officials to share and address grievances.
The app, to be developed on the lines of the successful WhatsApp model, will help students post their questions and complaints to which the university has promised to respond within 24 hours.

Ten days ago, the university launched an email ID (buexamredressal@gmail.com) exclusively to help students address their grievances. Postgraduate students hoped the new app will ensure speedy redressal of their problems instead of them running from pillar to post to get their %work done.
KN Ninge Gowda, registrar (evaluation), BU, said: "Today, students prefer to interact through mobile apps than email. The app will be launched in a few months; we are planning to make the service free."
