Bengaluru: Bangalore City XI bowlers propelled their team to an innings and seven runs win over Tumkur Zone in the KSCA U-14 inter-zonal tournament. Tumkur were bowled out for 95 in their first innings with Suhaan Bhandary claiming 4 for 19. The City XI lads responded with a 220. In their second essay, Tumkur failed to up their game and were bundled for 118 with Shrish Khan claiming three wickets and Om Agarwalla and Advaith Kamesh accounting for two wickets apiece.In another match, President’s XI thumped Shivamogga Zone by an innings and 211 runs. Ronith N (136 n.o) and Atharv Deshpande (109) did the star act with the bat, while Uday Charan was the crucial bowler for the winners with an eight-wicket haul.
