BIAL gets best-managed airport award

Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) has bagged a travel award under the `best-managed airport' category after a study was conducted by leading research firm The Neilsen Company.
The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday in New Delhi. The award, organized by a private TV channel, recognized the best in class organizations, destinations, infrastructure and service providers.
BIAL president Marcel Hungerbuehler said this award is special because it is part of the larger travel and tourism fraternity and comes from votes received by airport users.
