BENGALURU:
Krishna Nayak
, younger brother of fugitive KAS officer
Bheema Nayak
, was hesitant to
speak to the media
. He turned down all requests, but later conceded to speak, on one condition: “No personal questions, please.“
The Nayak family lives in a bungalow in Attur Layout, past Yelahanka, in northeast Bengaluru.
“Bheema's family and mine live here together. Bheema lost his wife Rajeshwari a few years ago, and he built this house in her memory and named it after her. If you want to know how we are now, I shall say we are living under
stress and depression
. Someone is trying to fix my brother,“ Krishna told TOI.
Bheema Nayak has two sons who are
pursuing education in different colleges
, family sources said.
“I know how much Bheema loved Ramesh. I can tell you that Ramesh was not a driver but a family member.Bheema and Ramesh would often have food at the same table. Now tell me, where is the ill-treatment?“ asked Krishna. Asked about Bheema's whereabouts, Krishna replied, “He's gone out on official work and will return after a week or 10 days. My brother never colluded with anti-social elements or helped anyone convert black money into white.“
