petrol
bunk near
Padmanabhanagar
in the wee hours of Saturday.
R Akash, 21, and Madhu, 27, residents of Padmanabhanagar, were assaulted when they objected to the trio who demanded the staff attend to them first.
At 2am, Akash and Madhu reached Devegowda Petrol Bunk, Banashankari, to refuel their scooter. Three men arrived and asked the employee to fill fuel into their bike first. Akash and Madhu objected, claiming they had come first. Enraged, the trio abused them. The rider took his helmet and tried to hit Madhu on the head. Madhu attempted to ward off the attack and the helmet broke. One of the them took a helmet shard and stabbed Akash in the chest. The trio fled the spot,
