BENGALURU: Three persons were killed after a
speeding bike
rammed into another motorcycle from behind on
Bommasandra flyover
, Hosur Road on Monday night.
According to police, all three dead —
Manjunatha
(26) of Attiibele, Narappa (30) and Omkar Naik (38), both from
Hebbagodi
— were employees with private firms and were returning home.
Police said that Manjunatha was riding his friend’s Bajaj Dominar D 400 (KA01HV 7117) bike at a heavy speed and lost control of it before crashing into another bike ahead of him around 7.30pm.
Manjunatha died instantly, while Naik, who was riding the other bike and Narappa on his pillion sustained severe injuries.
“Passersby rushed Naik and Narappa to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Narappa brought dead. Naik succumbed to injuries by 10.30pm,” a police officer said.
Hebbagodi police seized both vehicles from the spot for further course of investigation. Police have taken up a case about the incident based on

Police handed over the bodies to their family members on Tuesday after the autopsy procedures.
